"You always know what I want Bammaridhi" is what my bro-in law said as he opened his gift on his birthday at the strike of 12. I have known him for almost 7 years and our friendship preceeds our family relationship. Probably that's something our families will take considerable time to understand. We rarely talk on serious matters but when it comes to movies, future plans and point of views we both as a team could outrun any debate. Its strange that we never had a chance to argue on something damn serious. Well, it did happen two months back but I guess we both are over it by now as an apology didn't make any sense to him and he threw it off with a simple smile, this is what he always does, Forgiving me for my stupidity. The first time he told me that I am connected to Lord Venkateshwara was when we were in Tirupathy and ever since every word of his was my preaching from Bhagavatham. I considered his every advice as my stepping stone for a better tomorrow. He was always there for my sister which is the best part because I love my sister a lot and letting her go was one of the most difficult journeys of my life. He was the answer for 'What if?' questions I always had about my sister and for the past 5 years I have seen them as Lord Krishna and Maata Rukmini
A Friend, A Father, A Brother
I am very lucky to have seen him in these different forms. I address him as 'Bro','Bava', 'Bhaiyya' and there are times where I had to speak something really emotional and didn't realise that I addressed him as 'Dad'. We all choose our friends but I chose my family in people I am closely connected with. He always wanted to see the big picture whenever I talk about movies or stuff which only gets better for a momentary pleasure or happiness. His Ideologies on India and Enigmatic personalities like Nicholas Tesla is what really made me go to the extremes. Every since I told him that I have started to look at the big picture, things changed drastically. I did indeed become that Arjuna who was now being cautiously guided by lord krishna to attain the ultimate result of happiness. He is the first person I reach to when I am in some kind of conflict and when I am to get a clarification. He gives me a different point of view which opens many doors to my thought process. Whether its work, life or Family, He is there to listen thats what makes this relationship even more interesting.
I remember him telling me recently. 'Be like what you are now buddy. You are more awesome than you think when you talk your heart out' I took it as a compliment as he was genuinely happy to see his friend smiling and setting things right. Out journey need not be together, but where ever I go, His and My sister's mobile Number is something I will never forget. They are an imprint I will never let go off. My sister taught me to love people unconditionally and my bava taught me how to be happy . I believed in both love and friendship and thats what brough the necessary change in the exact right time.
